RX Undies are the joint vision of a female doctor and a female engineer: two friends who were tired of uncomfortable, ill-fitting, unsanitary thong underwear. Let’s face it.. who isn’t tired of uncomfortable, ill-fitting, unsanitary thong underwear?

Marie, the doctor half of the design team, studied human physiology and medicine at Boston University where she earned her MD. She also holds a graduate degree in public health from the University of Massachusetts. Marie has been trained in gynecology, women’s health, preventive medicine, family medicine, and public health. She is currently practicing at an academic medical center and is involved with teaching, clinical research, and has authored book chapters on women’s health topics. In addition, Marie has experience in international health, and was inspired to create RX Undies by time she spent in Central America treating women for a variety of gynecological issues stemming from tight fitting, non-breathable underwear.

Aileen earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a minor in mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania. She combined her engineering expertise and her background in modeling and fashion to generate prototypes for RX Undies.
